Nest #4 status and archive, 2009-10

Nest #4. This pair is new to our study, and in a breeding group called the Home Ranch. They are close to nest #5 and neither adult wears a band. We will learn the slight differences between their beaks to tell the female from the male. Their nest is well built and out of the snow.

Nov 18, they have one egg.

Nov 21, they have two eggs.

Dec 21, the first chick has hatched.
