Nest # 2 status and archive, 2009-10
Nest #2. This pair is new to our study and does not wear bands. They have successfully raised chicks in the past so we have added them to our study this year. We will learn the slight differences in their beaks to tell the female from the male. The nest is in a breeding group called the North Rocks and is very near nest #1.
Nov 17 They have one egg.
Nov 20 They have two eggs.
Dec 23 One chick has hatched
Dec 26, we see the second chick for the first time, it probably hatched on Dec 25.
